Gazprom won the Corporate Tax Award 2018. The Award had been established jointly by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and PwC in Russia.
The Company was awarded in two categories.
Karen Oganyan, Head of Department, was recognized as Tax Manager of the Year. This category evaluates a manager’s contribution to improving tax practices and Russian tax laws and increasing the efficiency of his/her tax division, as well as his/her public activities and business reputation.
In addition, Gazprom was named Tax Team of the Year in the Mining, Heavy and Construction Industries sector. The expert panel had taken into account, among other things, the tax division’s performance and contribution to improving the Company’s business efficiency, its projects in terms of their innovativeness, complexity and scope, and its compliance with corporate responsibility principles.
