Google’s ‘Project Sunroof’ is available today to residents in Britain in a partnership between Google, E.ON and Tetraeder. This online tool allows any home owner to calculate the savings and efficeny of installing solar technology analysing weather data, the surroundings, roof angle and area, and sun positioning. Even the shade of a lone tree is taken into calculation on the solar potentail of a proprty. Project Sunroof has already been in use in Germany since last year as a digital solution to improving sustainability of the enviroment and speading awareness of renewable energy sources available.

UK bus and rail sites under Arriva, a leading European passender transport provider are soon going to powered entirely by renewable energy.

Rampion Offshore Wind Farm (400MW), Sussex, is officialy receiving close work and maintance as the Operations and Maintance base has been opened today by Maria Caulfield, Mp for Lewes. Every day, maintance crews will be transfered by water to the 116 turbines, with the site planned to be finished entirely later this year.
