At The Energy Consultant we offer business and industrial energy users the best information and advice regarding thier gas and electricity contracts.

We remember at all times, that we are working for you, not the suppliers.

This means looking at all aspects of your supply, no just the unit rates.

Simply put, there is no point in finding the best price for apples, when you really need oranges.

We review your energy profile (how much power you use, when you use it - the time of day as well as the time of the year) and look at how this compares to the tariff structure that you are on. For most businesses, this will be the either be the tariff that the previous owner / tenant was on or one that was recommended by the first supplier. Now in many cases that will be just fine, but in our experience, when it's wrong, it is very wrong. Savings of 15-20% are not uncommon when changing tariff, and we have saved more than 1 customer over 50%.

Once we are sure that you are on a reasonable tariff, we then go out to the market and get as many quotes as we can, not every supplier will tender for every contract, but we will get as many quotes as possible. We then work with the top 2/3 suppliers to get you the best deal.

You choose the supplier and duration that suits you, and we arrange the contract.

Either way, you know that you have had independant advice and that you're getting a good deal.

What does all this cost? Nothing, we are paid a commission by the suppliers - the same commission by all suppliers.

How long does it take? Not long, most cases can be turned around in a couple of days, longer if we need to gather any information that you may not have.

What do you have to do? Very little, we gather all the informaiton we need duringour initial conversation/meeting and we come back to you with the completed report.
